The Hive team (hereinafter referred to as "we") takes your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy is intended to explain how we, as a focus companion tool, handle your minimal necessary data.

To achieve real-time focus status synchronization, we only collect when necessary:

• Basic Configuration: Such as your customized nickname and avatar;
• Focus Status: Whether you are current focusing, start time, expected end time, and selected subject;
• Connection Data: Limited to the necessary technical identifiers required to provide you with real-time connections.

2. Use of Information

All data is used only for:

• Synchronously displaying your focus status in your chosen squad to create an atmosphere of shared learning;
• Aggregating and displaying personal history reports for you;
• Counting anonymized global real-time online users.

3. Data Storage and Public Disclosure

Hive does not have social private chat or social feed functions. Your public profile (such as nickname) is only visible to members of the squad you actively join. We promise not to sell your data to any third party. All data is stored on highly secure encrypted servers.

4. Your Rights

You can modify or clear your personal configuration within the application at any time. If you stop using the application, the relevant real-time synchronization data will automatically become invalid.
