Hive End User License Agreement (EULA)

Welcome to Hive. This agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and the Hive team ("we", "us") regarding the use of this focus companion tool. Please read carefully before use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hive, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, please immediately stop using and uninstall the application.

2. License Grant

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable limited license to install and use Hive on iOS devices you legally own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not: copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or distribute any part of this application; use the application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; access the application's service interfaces through automated means.

3. User Generated Content & Atmosphere Policy

Important: Hive is designed to provide an immersive learning companionship experience. We have a zero tolerance policy for disrupting the learning atmosphere and posting objectionable content.

Although Hive is not a traditional social application, when synchronizing your focus status or displaying basic information in a squad, you must not include:

4. Subscription & Payment

Hive offers the following subscription plans to unlock all focus features:

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms and conditions. Prices may vary by region; the App Store listing price is authoritative.

Auto-renewing subscriptions will be charged within 24 hours before the expiry date, unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's Refund Policy. The Hive team does not directly process refunds.

New users may enjoy a 7-day free trial (where applicable as shown on the App Store). After the trial period ends, unless cancelled, charges will automatically be applied per the selected plan.

6. Privacy Protection

Your use of this application is subject to our Privacy Policy. We only collect the minimal data necessary to achieve "peer companionship" and "focus statistics," and will never sell your personal data to any third party.

All intellectual property rights in the Hive application, brand identity, interface design, and all related content belong to the Hive team and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. This Agreement does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

Hive is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

If you violate this Agreement, we may immediately terminate your license and disable your account without liability. You may also terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting the application.

Upon termination, data stored in the application may not be recoverable. Please back up any important data beforehand.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by applicable local laws. Disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if unsuccessful, disputes shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices or version update prompts. Continued use of the application constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement.
